used to have a 1341?

if so, that now belongs to G40 Ad, he bought the car for the engine off some sketchy ass motherfuckers down south.

We replaced the engine and sent it on its way to a new owner.

This would have been around 2 years ago now mind

I haven't seen it for a while, but it lived near me about ten years ago and belonged to James McHardy aka Petrified on here. There was a thread on here a few years ago, sadly the Pistonheads ad has long gone but it shows it used to have a 1341cc engine conversion. Rather than re-post the same stuff, I've quoted it:

OK I'm confusing myself now - a bit of scanning through old pics and all's clear

James has owned three G40s, all of which are red (one's a saloon) and all of which were on 14in BBS RAs. He sold his first one (J940 XWF) to Luke in summer 2005, this was the one which melted three pistons early in 2006. Then he bought this one (J409 RFJ) sometime in early 2006. According to the for sale thread it was being sold to someone "London way" - this one's listed in Berkshire so I guess it's still there.

My mate Rich from Tunbridge Wells bought that a good few years back. I went and looked at it with him and he bought it off some lad, it was running like a dog and pretty all round rough too. He got in running a bit better and spent a few quid on it before getting bored with it and buying an Evo 8. I think the lad he sold it too was very young so probably the 17 yo you speak of...we had it on the rolling road at Race Power Motorsport and it made 152.8BHP @ 6109RPM and 145.1 LB/FT @ 3610 RPM. God knows what's happened to it since but its good to see it being looked after properly!

I'm still in touch with James McHardy if you want any more details. I've got those photos in high res if you want them, too.

Thanks Alex yeah please anytime your free to send some of the pics my email is benpsteer@hotmail.co.uk , just wondered about some of its history , I've changed so many parts and don't trust myself with the ecu  , nothing to ask really or I can't think of anything apart from the ecu saying amd but I'll be getting it mapped anyway so no point I guess

Thanks again Ben  ;D
