Title: Radiator refitting
Post by: Lionheart on November 30, 2013, 09:41:07 PM
Hi all,
I have had a look but can't find any info so thought I would ask.
I took the rad out of the g earlier and it was a bit of hassle, I took the top plastic cover off and the boost pipes and the fan, but it still took a fair old time and a lot of experimenting, finally managed to remove it, but really don't want that hassle when putting the new one in.
Has anyone got any good advice? I was considering taking the beam that it sits on out and then putting it all back in from the bottom, yay or nay?
All help is hugely appreciated,
Cheers James

I ended up taking the front end off
Bumper, lower impact bar and upper, doesn't take long
I was fitting an alloy rad and really didn't want to damage it and found that easier

It looks like ill be doing the same to put it back on, less likely to damage the new rad.
