Title: 19mm vs 22mm cylinder brake cylinder
Post by: sparkz786 on July 15, 2013, 12:49:07 PM
Okay, so on my GT i have 256mm brakes (and i always assumed the person who done them fitted a 22mm brake cylinder) and the G i am building has the standard 239mm brakes on it. Im going to swap the brakes over from the two and before i whip off the brake cylinder from the gt is there any clear visual differences in the two sizes??
The g has the black cylinder with just 3 holes, and the one on the gt is like silvery/gold and has 4 with one blanked off? Is this the 22m brake cylinder?

When I went to 22mm it had 4 outlets.

The silvery gold one is a 22mm master cylinder. Same as mine.
