Really ploughing along with this mate, looks absolutely stunning.
wheels look really good, look like they would be equally at home on a tidy oem nova sri
doorcards are a pain to get to sit flat but they look tidy! you gotta get some cable ties in there somewhere for old times sake =D
braaaap tsssh really looking forward to seeing this and kizs this year at the shows, and hopefully on a track

Yeah wheels fit a treat, best bit is they clear the wilwoods too
Will be building the front suspension up this week, and hopefully getting the interior finished off at the weekend, and building the gearbox back up if Hayesey gets his lazy arse over here

Slow progress today as I was pretty hungover:
Hayesey popped in and we stuck the diff back in after the preload has been reset:
New clutch release bearing on there too.
The I stuck the suspension back on, with the subframe and new bottom arms, this made me smile
Will be picking up the new compression struts next week, which are adjustable on the car. Once that's done I can drop it back on it's wheels.

I've a question - what are the plans about the brake system - 22mm brake pump (as the Golf GTI)? 256mm front disks? Brake fluid?

Brakes are 22mm master cylinder, 256mm discs with a Wilwood 4-pot caliper, RBF600 fluid
Back to the ground, and straight onto my tracking gauges
New VAG steering arms/rose joints (cheers Gary):
New G60 Aluminium master cylinder:
Change of rear lights to LHD & RHD combo:
Engine will be in the next few weeks...

Laid some carpet down in the back now:
Then got a new headgasket, bolts, and gaskets and built the engine back up with Hayesey today:
Not far off from going in now
