Not a G40 airbox, but I watched this action end earlier, Mk3 GT, guy wanted £500 and it gone before xmas, but no bids at all! Only mention it 'cos he's in Essex too, maybe he'll take a silly low offer to get rid of it? Tempted to make an offer myself and then break it,  but too far from Swansea for a car I couldn't drive back.

I've got first dibs on the inlet manifold if you buy it!  ;)

i've got an airbox, with a hole on the inlet side (more air in) , and a hole on the outlet side (for air temp sensor)
needs 2 of the metal clips though to hold it shut.
whats it worth? the hole on the top part would be easy to fill with a bung, or screwing a small metal plate over, or bolting an air temp sensor in! its only a smallish hole!

... oh, and Puncharado - i've got a GT inlet to sell, £45 posted.

will see what comes up, just want something easy to whack on!

out of intrest why would you want a temp sensor?

Is tempting mate, though I know someone who just did an eaton conversion on a 6n who might have one spare for £10. if he does I will probs go for that as i would be able to swap back if the airbox looses me power!

I dont have any experience with the airbox but the jabba kit is pretty loud, could be nice for some! not a big fan of it, contemplating going back to standard backbox too!

I have gone back to the air box. Only thing i noticed is that it helped my air flow as i have a gt inlet and de wedge tb at doesnt struggle for throttle response any more but i dont feel like it is as quick as it used to be.
