power steering rack

hi all,

just wondering if the gt's or g40's have a power steering rack as i've got a little genesis and after changing the wheels the steering has got heavier just wondered if i could get a simple bolt on kit??

no mk3 polos (or older ones) have power steering.

I've never seen or heard of one, no.  Never seen any need myself.

just thought it might b a bit easier as ive got a small steering wheel, got a big trip over to the isle of man next year,
no worries tho i'm sure i'll get used to it

the easiest thing to do would be to put a bigger steering wheel on.  If you are serious about wanting to fit power steering then it's going to be a lot of work, probably want to start looking at electric power steering systems from corsas and stuff like that.

i seem to remember something written on clubgti years ago about audi 80 racks being modified to fit? can't remember any details though,sorry!

i,ve seen a g40 in a for sale section somewhere years ago that had power steering,

ive got used to it now!!!!
been driving around for 3 weeks in her and its not a problem!!
think i need to renew all the bushes tho as when i accelerate she pulls to the right slightly then when i release the throttle she dips to the left, so lookin to get a desent set any ideas? powerflex??
