Owned this over a year & have spent loads on it to turn it into a reliable & fun semi-daily driven car. I'm restoring a classic which is swallowing money so it needs to go. I was going to keep it for my Son but he's one so perhaps optimistic! I'll regret selling it though as I kept this over my mark 2 Golf 16v...

Original Windsor Blue non-sunroof car (G40 on log book) - paint is presentable & eye catching but not concours, there are small scabs here & there which I touched up with a genuine VW Windsor Blue touch-up kit. Still looks crisp & highly presentable when polished.
Looks stock apart from the slight lowering and 14 not 13 inch RAs, has the nicer late G40 smoked rear lights, clear side repeaters & clear front indictors.
Includes 13 & 14 inch BBS RA wheels - 13s are currently bare blasted & 14s have been refurbed to as new stock spec with new caps & logos & have recent Yokohama A539 tyres.
Koni dampers all round with Apex 40mm lowering springs - sits about 15mm lower that a standard car.
PPP subframe with new polybushes & new anti roll bar bushes - transforms handling.
Rebuilt charger - been done by Pete when Yoof owned the car & again by OCD last year.
Spare recently rebuilt charger included.
New Aluminium radiator, new expansion tank & fresh G13 coolant.
New cam belt & water pump.
New genuine VW charger belts.
Chip & pulley - also have standard chip & standard pulley with car.
Totally stock engine bay with standard air box & new filter.
Stock exhaust.
Full gearbox rebuild last year - done 2k since.
Black diamond stage 1 clutch (fitted after gearbox rebuild) - done 2k.
New starter & starter bush (squeals a little sometimes).
Repacked CV joints with new cv boots.
Recent brake pads.
Original interior throughout - has split/fold rear seat - rare apparently. No rips or major fading, though tops of door cards have faded a little.
Everything works & all mirrors adjust correctly etc.
Subtle audio - Boston Acoustic fronts & new Alpine rears in standard speaker apertures & JVC head unit.
Uncut rear shelf.
One genuine key with Pill key!!!
Original restored front & rear badges.
New plain number plates with 'Trust' VW trims.
New red vinyl bumper pin stripe.
Spare vinyl set for door posts & rear number plate aperture.

Original VW G40 supercharger service manual - how rare?!
Loads of history/receipts - service book is lost but I believe this car belonged to Yoof on here who put a lot of time into rebuilding the engine & putting the car right. The car has covered 170 odd thousand (7K a year!!!) but drives amazing & all the major areas to address have been covered.

Car is in Chesterfield & is ready to drive away. Advertised on here 1st to avoid the deluge of time wasters that ebay will yield.
