Title: g60 - what belts?
Post by: PeteG40 on October 01, 2009, 11:21:25 am
I know you can get g60 mounts from g-ladersiete or make yr own, but what belt kits have people used - or know about???

g60s use ribbed belts - can crank/alt pulleys be used from a mk4 polo or something? similar size/fitting to a g40?

You can buy on ebay.de kit for G60 in Polo with pulleys and belt (5/6 pk) or tooth pulleys

Ask him for price without chip, spark plugs etc

I was thinking I could get a toothed charger pulley made up to work with PSD toothed crank/alternator pulleys?

Doubt it'd be cheapest option though!

Use standard pulleys/belts from G40 in G60 lader, this would be the cheapest option

If the toothed pulley from a PSD kit or G-werks kit doesn't work, I'm sure it would be easy to get another pulley sorted for that type of belt. Give me a shout if you decide to go this route as I might be able to help.
