Drove the car over to the unit Friday before last (10th) and by Wednesday this week it will be in a state to be started up.

It'll be ready for the Polo Show!

good stuff!  where'd you get that water pipe fitting?  It looks much better than mine because it holds the pipe away from the heat of the turbo

wash your mouth out dan.

What spaniel wants in a mk3 is all original bolts and part with vw numbers on them and a wallet of reciepts to back up the part numbers.

Car is up and running now so will be at the Polo Show.

As a proper G-Lader boy i gotta admit the turbo conversion for me is better than the lader set up, no issues with rev limits, reliabilty etc.

Like other Turbo boys i miss the low down kick from the lader boost and also the toothed belt noise but after doing 100miles in the turbo i can honestly say that turbo was the correct way to go.

Its so much quieter exhaust side of things, more powers and also i don't suffer as badly with wheel spin as the turbo only really kicks in properly after 2500rpm so by then i am already rolling.

Robin, like the best of us requires some 'Yoof Diagnostics' time, just to put the finishing touches on it  ;)

Car is a credit to Robin, conversion is excellent and we're proud that it wears so many of our bits- come see it at Polo Show on our stand!  8)
