------:Dates:------
We start the trip on Thursday 11th April 2013,,we will travelling by overnight ferrys to Holland.
Arrive in Holland for the morning of 12th April, where we stay till the morning of the 15th April 2013,,we'll be visiting Amsterdam
http://www.timeout.com/amsterdam/ and attending the polo 86c treffen meet
http://www.polotreffen.nl/indexENG.php whilst in Holland.
Travel to Wolfsburg on the morning of 15th April, where we will be staying for 2 nights,,we'll be visiting places like Autostadt
http://www.autostadt.de/en/and the VW museum
http://automuseum.volkswagen.de/ whilst in Germany.
On the morning of 17th April we begin the drive home through Europe,we will be staying the night in france.
18th April catch ferry back to UK and drive back to your home destination.
------:Ferrys:------
There is 3 Ferrys available in the UK that travel overnight to Holland,,Ideally we'd like us all to travel together from Hull, but some people live to far to get to Hull so there is other options for you...
1. Newcastle--Amsterdam DFDS Seaways overnight ferry,journey takes 15hrs 30mins,departs 17:00,arrives 09:30,Prices for single fare based on 1 car x 2 people is £159
2. Hull--Rotterdam P&O Ferry,overnight ferry,journey takes 10hrs 45mins,departs 20:30,arrives 08:15,,Prices for single fare based on 1 car x 2 people is £149
3. Harwich--Hook of Holland Stena overnight ferry,journey takes 7hrs 30mins,departs 23:15,arrives 07:45,,Prices based on 1 car x 2 people is £114
4. Dunkirk/Calais--Dover,there is several ferry services back to the UK,,prices are around £49 for a single fare based on 1 car x 2 people, but your best booking the full trip with say P&O and it will be slightly cheaper.
If people travel by different ferry a meeting point will be made so we can all meet up together in Holland..
------:Accommodation:------
3 nights stay in Holland in comfy Log cabins,,there are 4 Log cabins available to me that can sleep up to 18 people 2x 4 bed cabins and 2 x 5 bed cabins,,,the log cabins have to be booked thou for the 15th December..
http://www.barendonk.nl/index-uk.php?page=...ay&lang=english2 nights stay in Germany im still enquiring as prices in Wolfsburg are very expensive so im looking into Log cabins again that are just outside Wolfsburg, the link ive put up cater ideally for us.
http://www.bernsteinsee.de/startseite/urla.../ferienhaeuser/1 night stay in France this is looking like a Hotel in either Dunkirk or Calais,,the hotel will be booked once i know how many are going.
http://www.smoothhound.co.uk/cgi-bin/bh.pl...sur-mer&w=tnamehttp://www.smoothhound.co.uk/cgi-bin/bh.pl...belazur&w=tnameThe hotels in France could change,,remember prices can change from now till booking..
------:Prices:------
I would advise that if you do the full rd trip to try and take a co-pilot with you, sharing the trip will work out alot cheaper..
Ferry roughly £200 depends where your travelling from and the price is based on 2 people.
Accommodation will be around £100 and that will hopefully be for 5 nights log cabins stay in Holland and Germany and 1 night in a French Hotel,,,subject to change if the German log cabins fall through
Fuel,we are looking at covering between 1000 and 1200 miles depends where your travelling from a rough guess for fuel is £150 but that depends on what car your driving.
Spending money you will need money for a weeks worth of food,,visiting museums etc,,rough price around £200
200 Ferry
100 Accommodation
150+ Fuel
200+ Spending,,these prices are subject to change thou
So if you travel with someone the ferry and fuel prices will half....
