G Lader blanking plate?

Ive been keepingan eye on Ebay but with no luck, where can i find a blanking plate to do the BRV mod?

I tried that one, went to three places and all they did was 3mm alloy and it seems like 5mm atleast is what i need. so thought it would beeasier to buy one.

mate, mine was like 1mm thick and was fine, used some gasket sealant on the thread holes and contact surfaces, jobs a good 'un!  ;D

I made mine out of some sheet steel I had knocking about in the garage, easy to do.  Then used some sealer on it too.

A bit aluminium plate and some tin snips should do the job I'd have thought. Failing that some 3 mm and a junior hacksaw. I could get my gcse engineering class to make a batch of charger blanking plates for their next project ha ha. Although going on their measuring and marking skills you'd probably rather not unless you want stones in your charger ha ha.

Ah right i thought it had to be a thick peice of alloy. ..might get tin snips on the pc case i have in the loft then. its like 1mm thick.
