G40 For Sale
« on: February 01, 2010, 04:41:11 pm »
Polo G40 for sale was a GT and converted to G40. No Tax No MOT
Hi guys, I was once a member of this forum but sadly I’ve not been on for years and have lost my account stuff, lol

Where to really start with this car, I bought it in October 2003 and ran it around for a good few years, around early 2007 life changed as it does and the car was taken off the road and put in a garage. And pretty much how the story end for the car. I always wanted to run it again but have never had the chance, and sadly don’t think I will again.

About a year ago I moved it to another garage  and this is where it has sat since, I’ll be honest I’ve been and checked it’s ok but sadly not started it or anything or given it a good run. Mainly due to battery being dead and not having time to even do that. When I last moved the car it started on the first spin and sounded like it always did.

Anyway enough of the boring the story, here’s some spec

Jabba Sport stage 4 build with chip and air box
65mm cam and pulley
Jetex Exhaust front to back
256mm Discs Calipers
Gas flowed head
Oil pressure and oil temp gauges (not connected)
Recaro seats
Golf MK3 rear seats
Kenwood mask head unit
PG mids and tweets fitted in door
6x9 fitted in parcel shelf
Clifford Concept 300 with door pop controls built into remote

Off the top of my head that is all at the mo. Any questions please ask and I’ll do my best to answer. The car is in Portsmouth, and would suggest collection with a trailer as I wouldn’t say how far it would drive after being stood up for so long.

I’m sure for some members of this forum and myself it is crime how I left my car, but would like see someone bring it back to life.

As for price I’ve not thought to hard about it, I know what I’d like, but I think it’s best to view I and go from there and this can be done with some arranging

Picture of it in its prime
