Out of interest what force induction do you have?

I have the G lader because its original and sounds good on toothed belts, could go for the turbo conversion but for me the lader is more desirable due to it being what a G40 is about.

If only it was more reliable lol!

Similar reasons for keeping my lader Robin as well as the cost. I dont do enough miles in my G to worry about the servicing intervals on the G.

Same again here chaps!! :D
The G40 I have is totally standard and I like to keep it that way, I do like the way it drives to. Below 3K revs it could just be another 1.3 for tootling around town, above that and it pulls like a train!! 8)
I'm still debating the chip'n'pulley for more boost though!! ::) ;)

I still use the G lader too. Although I did buy a lysholm conversion but never got round to fitting it. Gonna have to sell that actually....

turbo because it'll make 20psi without needing a service every 100 miles and has more progressive power delivery so wont keep (well, hopefully!) blowing up gearboxes.  I'm not convinced a g-lader running a small pulley is ideal for track days unless I want to keep spending a lot of money on servicing and replacement parts.  K03 turbos can easily be found for £50.

I do miss the noise of the g-lader and the punch-in-the-face power delivery though (which is what kills boxes for fun really).
