Beautiful example of this very rare car supercharged VW. Only around 500 originally imported 25 years ago, so not many left now!
This one has been very well cared for and looks completely standard other than the custom exhaust. myself and the last couple of owners
have spent a vast amount of money keeping the car in good order! Body work is fantastic. no dings or dents and a rust free shell with great
paintwork (few stone chips)
Recent full engine rebuild (around 10,000 miles ago at a guess)
Recent full respray (apart front the front valance / which is also the only area of any visible corrosion. have a pot of paint mixed to go with car to sort this)
4 matching yokohama tyres with loads of tread
Recent bilstien shocks and eibach springs which sit at very near standard height and have a lovely firm but forgiving ride.
Work I have had carried out in last 6 months:
Reconditioned / rebuilt supercharger (new oil lines fitted and a wide timing belt also)
Discs and pads
Head rebuild (with all gaskets + new head bolts)
poly engine mounts
Cam belt
Plugs
Filters
K and N panel filter
Full stainless exhaust system with new welded exhaust mounts and rubbers (original mounts are notorious for falling off)
PPP stainless 4 branch manifold
Bar Tek Anti roll bar blocks (vastly improve handling)
Bar Tek chip and smaller charger pulley
These cars have 114 BHP standard. Its likely with these modifications this one is running around 150BHP though i have not had it on the dyno.
Needless to say Its very quick!
Obviously with a car of this age there are a few little niggles here and there which I would be happy to discuss with anyone genuinely interested in the car.
