With regard to this to the 62k charger, I dug out some old info and took the charger about for pics
From the previous owner of a breadvan mk2 g40 project he had it for years, I was told the charger was last serviced by Jabba in 2001, dry stored until I purchased it in 2011.
The markings show the last service, and that it is infact a stage 2 charger.
I've since ran it in for 620 miles, taken it off the charger and stuck it back on the shelf since.
There was 62,5000 miles on original engine (which is now owned by dubstar, who had stripped the engine and confirmed it looked like a low-miler
)

It was just after the run-in period, that I melted a piston giving it legs in front of an S3.
Took the charger off to inpsect it (hoping it was the charger, not a piston) but upon clean inspection, the charger was shelved and the peril underwent restoration status and got taken off road.
