Lowering
« on: March 19, 2011, 12:58:43 pm »
Im looking to lower my polo for better handling as its a standard mk2 with a g40 lump and so it handles like a boat. im just looking to get springs at the moment as i havent got the money for coil overs yet. Can anyone recomend a set, and how low i should make it? Are the springs on ebay any good?

Cheers.

check the parts section. there's a guy selling brand new apex springs for good price. those will make your car stiffer and lower it by 40mm.

I have a g40 lump in my mk3 saloon i have a weitec gt kit on my car and it is amazing i wouldn't have anything else now, there not the cheapest but by far the best in my opinion and i would never "SLAM" my car as they catch speed bumps with a 40mm drop
Hope this helps
