hello!  Welcome to the forum, we're getting G40 owners from all over europe on here now which is cool.

Your car looks very good, I love the steel wheels.

There are a couple of Capri Green G40s in the UK that I know of.

Thanx m8, i just have found a capri green G40 for sale on this forum
so it must be a more common colour in the Uk than it is in The netherlands.

So it's becoming a real international G40 forum lol

Welcome to the forum, again good to see more international friends of the G40. I'm kind of getting to like the look of banded steelies, they look great on your car.

Capri Green is a fairly common colour in the UK, it's Montana Green which is the rare version in the UK.

Banded steelies is the greatest! it was hard working to get them like this
but the result is fantastic!
I believe in the UK the call is european style?
in holland we call is "German Style" Low and Wide!

The fenders will get wider with 6cm (2.36")  back 4cm (1.57") in front
when fenders are ready the front will lower an extra 4cm (1.57") and the back an extra 2cm (0.79")

So it will get a mean look but also verry important i will keep the original lines of the car
with an accent on the fenders and wheels

Also i will only use as mutch as possible original VAG/VW parts
don't wanna have a tupperware car like the most Honda's and other Jap's
I like original with a custom touch

I dont know whats on the market for the G40 in the UK,
but in the netherlands its huge.

When someone here is searching for a special part or something,
and he/she can't find it in the UK, you can send me a privat message,
so i can search here in Holland for this part.

Thats the big plus when you go international,

And i'm always willing to help my UK G40 friends!
The only problem is shipping costs don't know how mutch that is but when i find your part
i will first check what the shipping costs are before i buy.

My chosen approach to styling too. In the UK this can be referred to as OEM+

I can vouch for the Dutch being helpful with G40 bits. I know a guy called Ruud who can source almost anything new which has gone obsolete from VW :D

Okay, so you allready got support from the netherlands,
i don't know this Ruud there a lot of people called Ruud here lol.

What is the price of a nice H4 BiXenon HID kit in the UK?

When someone is interested i can deliver it for GBP 135

Includes shippingcosts to the UK (secured)

thnx m8 i really feel welcome on this forum!
people got more respect here! then in the netherlands

The name "tupperware car" was made up by me and a close mate of mine,
when visiting the japanese tuning day on the dutch TT circuit @ Assen Holland were i live,
we visited this day for 30minutes it was the worst day of my life!

We waited in our cars G40 & G60 when this day was over to kill some Honda's
and other optic tupperware fast cars and blowen then away @ the nearest
traffic lights

(thanks to the inventor from my Sachs powerclutch and double thanks to the inventor and engineers for making the G-lader)

After this my day was turning a bit brighter

Some Pics of this day (don't be scared! its optic illusion!)

My 165Bhp story with pics:

After i go on a holiday to Rhodos Isle this is going to happen with my G-ride:

Standard power 113Bhp 150Nm

In the right order
-1- 5Bhp gates belt with 3 new poely's (68mm) costs : Gbp 110,00 (photo 1)
-2- Aluminium inlet G-lader costs : Gbp 60,00 (photo 2)
-3- Carbon airbox costs : Gbp 110,00 (photo 3)
-4- Aluminium pressure tube costs : Gbp 110,00 (photo 4)
-5- Spaghetti costs : Gbp 300,00 (photo 5)
-6- Overhauling and flowing G-lader costs : Gbp 403,00 (photo 6)
-7- Custom chiptuning (on Dyno and on the road) costs : Gbp 317,00 (photo 7)

Total costs to get this power Gbp 1410,00 (€1781,00)

Also in this engine project i will replace the original hoses for Samco of SFS performance silicone,
and the gasflaphouse (don't know the UK word photo 8) will get a flowing for best performance.

After this all i will have al least 165Bhp and minimal 260Nm throttle thanks the custom software.
