What sort of psi should i be looking at for a belevied to be standerd charger? fitted a gauge and the most ive seen it at is 8psi, i thought it was a bit slack but unsure.

on a standard size pulley that's about right. Perhaps a touch on the low side by a psi or two. Belt slippage maybe?

Yup i feel like its a bit of belt slippage, sometimes can almost smell it when you lift the bonnet if you know what i mean, looking to get toothed pullys to stop that tho.
