Thank you for the reply, and to be honest I am genuinely sorry that you feel you got a bad deal or hard done by. However, my point still stands. At no time did you ever contact me to ask for help or to allow me to rectify any faults. Hence why I am slightly annoyed at your defamotary remarks as if I ignored you or worse still intentionally sold a dodgy/dangerous vehicle. Regarding the welds failing, this is a G40 weak point, and one that is becoming more apparent as the cars age and are tuned above the original design threshold.
As for the items required for MoT, as I said I changed the shock absorbers and handbrake, using parts I had off another car. At no point did I say new parts had been used, and the MoT was done legitimately. Again, if you had concerns, you could have spoken to me, taken it up with the MoT centre, or complained to VOSA if you felt agrieved. However, the way you have come across on here is not particularly helpful or constructive. How was I supposed to know there was a problem if I wasn't told?
I didn't check the battery box when i changed the battery, so I apologise for that. However, there was no way of knowing the pedal box was cracking without dismantling the whole car, and this is just not feasible. The charger was checked for boost and oil residue, but I did not split the charger. I didn't know there was/had been an alarm in the car so again I was unaware of the wiring issue.
I am a trader yes, but I don't trade in G40's. You came up to me and viewed another car which I had for sale under my business, but you spotted the G40 and the sale was conducted privately. However, as I have already said, without telling me there is a problem I cannot ever hope to rectify it.
Thank you for the apology regarding the language, I just hope you are willing to accept that I can only help when I am kept in the loop, and your original post slating was inaccurate. Likewise, if the guy I sold the white one to is willing to keep in touch and ask for help then I will help as much as I can. And I think that is the most anyone can hope for when buying a second hand car.
