Crank Pressure

Naw im guna have a look at that pod on the back of the block tommorow and ill clean it and put it back on!

what happens if it still spits it outa the dip stick?

Piston rings maybe??

What ele can i do to relieve pressure?

well just see what happens when you sort the breather pod out first.  If it's still doing it then it could be suffering a lot of blowby past the piston rings but I wouldn't worry about it till you've sorted the breather out.

yes, use a flat bladed screwdriver to prise it off, and a mallet to put it back on (well thats how i did mine).  Its an interference fit onto the block.

You'll see the gauze, clean it, and also soak in turps/meths/white spirit or similar stuff.  I known of people actually just removing this gauze and binning it (some cup cars did this).

seems to be all fine cleand out that metal pod seems to have solved the problem nice one guys hes one happy g40 owner naw
