When you say gone - how do you mean - in a million peices - or smoking loooads of oil etc?

Have you sorted the problem with the bottom end out, that was giving strange compression test readings?
Is the car drivable?

im not sure if i will describe it right but where the seals sit its worn away so everytime new ones are put in they just fail and i havnt got the time to sort everything out so iv got to sell it and as for the boottom end when we redid the supercharger i took it out for bout half hour drive and it felt perfect there was no smoke until obviously the charger started leaking oil

when you re-assemble the charger, do you use to put some engine oil on seal lip before putting the axle in his place?
maybe it's just too dry, and when it rotates, overheats the compound and melt the lip..

means on the charger seal - and axle.
To be honest more likely the scroll seal housing is likely to be scored.

i've come across one whereby the it was the oil slinger in the charger not going round so blowing seals... could be a variety of things.
