Title: what bottom end?

hey all
what bottom end fits on the g40 head and box,looking for a bigger block 8)

You can use the block and crank from either a SEAT terra diesel van or a diesel polo from the continent, engine code 1W.

Not the easiest to find in the uk but you'll get 1473cc...

Also benefits from oil squirters under the piston skirt for better cooling.

I have read about those oil squirters before, sounds very complicated; how does one do that?

Not so much something you 'do' more of a design feature.

Route for oil to 'squirt' up from holes in crankcase to underside of piston. G60 engines had them as standard, a G40 did not. Think it's standard procedure on newer engines.
