grinding noise when turning left
« on: February 28, 2010, 04:42:15 pm »
Might be related to the pulling to the left. The noise is coming from somewhere around the drivers side wheel. Doesnt do it any other time than turning left, usually with a bit of speed its more noticable
Any ideas?
thanks

CV joint, wheel bearing, or something with the brakes. You got big wheels fitted? Maybe catching. Not much else to choose from!

i find that my car some time makes a nosie when turning at speed
so i checked it and it was my wider wheels in the front hitting the antiroll bar on full lock
never no it could be that

Ive taken the car off the road now as this has got really bad. The grinding noise is happening all the time now, any sort of lock, when im not even moving its making the grinding/knocking noise. Am i right in thinking the diff has had it?
