What are the best replacements for the original ones on an 86c Polo?

besides original ones, they are all rubish. they can last 1 or 2 years and they start to knock.

there are some bonrath polymounts on ebay, but some people say that they dont last long.

i bought pattern ones and till the moment, they do the job just fine!

Thanks mate for the info. Has anyone tried putting skoda felicia ones on as they look similar, as quick thought as I was working on it and they look quite similar to polo ones.

Have a word with a local parts palce who will have reference books. I used to spend ages looking through them when I worked at Halfords yeeeears ago. i assume parts places will still have them. Ebay is another one, I've often found odd bits and bobs on there under other manufacturers titles by chance

I used to use the original ones, until VW stopped making them last year.

Either cheap crappy ones, which last 6 months to 2 years or buy some of the camber bonrath ones.

They seem good quality and with the added benifit of being camber adjustable. Can't say how long they will last, but Phil J is selling them now, and they are not the old crappy bonrath ones.

Be quick mind, they have stopped making them too, think Phil has 4 sets left. I have just ordered another couple of pairs....

I just bought some from max rpm. The fit is bob-on. Being e!ccentric you adjust camber and castor in one movement, which is not ideal.. but then nor is loose floaty oem type mounts

Is that the original G40 spec mount Pete? Later mounts were about 7mm shallower rubber.
