Title: mk1 - mk2f suspension differences
Post by: dubstar on February 07, 2015, 08:44:25 am
Hi gang,

Looking at ordering some suspension and have been on the blower to some people about what's available. I've convinced myself that the mk1 suspension set up is the same as Mk2f G40, so a kit designed for a G40 will go straight on. I've got a feeling I could be wrong.

What's the deal? Do I need to be ordering a Mk1 specific kit?

Cheers,

Ross.

All are interchangeable but late mk2 and mk3 legs are beefier. Also springs are different,  more pig tailed needing different top caps if I remember rightly.
Get some used later legs id say

Quality, thanks Pete. Got some on the way now. I'll order mk2f g40 suspension and use the top caps off the Mk2f too. Tidy.
