the oil sensor comes out of the head and the adaptor/splitter arrangement goes into the head, then both the oil supply banjo bolt and the sensor go into the splitter.  I think the parts are something like £30-£40 from VW so not massively expensive but you'll prob get a run of the mill t-piece and banjo bolt from Think Automotive for less than that, needs to be 10mmx1mm thread (same as metric brake pipe fittings).

awesome

my old works do brake fittings and metric fittings, will pop in there tomorrow i think.

they gave me 2 spare 10mmx1mm banjo bolts yesterday for nothing

is the oil sensor the same 10mmx1mm thread, if so that will make it easier.

there are no odd pressure valves or anything in the adaptor are there, as if i sort out a tee piece it will be a straight through tee piece. if so i think i can get one for feck all tomorrow.

yep all threads involved will be 10mmx1mm and no there's no valves or owt, it's just a tee-piece.
