Title: fuel pumpsto suit turbo conversion

as above, whats the best fuel pump set up to use with a turbo conversion?

i take it a fuel presure regulator is a necessity?

just all standard is fine too 190bhp maybe more.

no need to change either the pump or the regulator.

If you are aiming for 200bhp+ then swapping for a higher max flow rate pump might be worthwhile but you'd still not change the reg

i currently have a standard gt one at the mo as its a converstion, but im guessing they are lower pressure than G40 ones? but if not then that will be fine to use then?   engine is set set up to be producing around 180hp

GT fuel pump and pressure reg are the same as G40.  I'd be wanting to replace the pump with a new one if it's like 15+ years old though.

be cheaper to upgrade the inline pump than buying another original from vw!

Euro car parts are a bit bit cheaper than VW. Euro is about £130 and VW are about £160
