Catch tanks
« on: September 21, 2010, 02:43:05 pm »
After making my custom one it wont fit where i was planning it too so i have had to look at other designs and ways to fit. Im thinking of fitting it between my heatshield and suspension top mount/strut bit.

Im asking would it be possible for those that have got catch tanks to post up some pics so i can see different ways of instsalling them.

It would a big help.

i had mine where you are suggesting - bolted on to the head shield (which was cut down slightly!)

i think i might look out for one and give that a go. Something like this :

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120333941824&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

but if i buy this one im gonna swap it around so i can put the fuel breather into it, as well as a little filter. Not too worried about a sight gauge.

Might even make one myself again.

Yeah i would get one made up if i bought that one. Or i would get the one on my current catch tank and put it on to that.
