Title: ATV replacement 5th gear

I've got Robins old ATV gearbox that stripped 5th gear.

Where can I get a replacement 5th gear from other than direct from VW (at a cost of £295)

I have an 8p box as backup.

What box has the identical 5th that I can pillage?

According to this an AHD is the same fifth gear

Have a good search through google for gearbox ratios of 86c Polo's - you may find others.

I have a new old stock 5th changer gear....  not the gear itself but the one next to it
