Bump!!! Blown my head gasket again on my 1.0l. Been thinking bout doing this for ages. Really want to get the beast back on the road!!! G40 ftw!!! Cheers

I have a gearbox too if you need, and an engine mount, and a G40 inlet manifold, and a G40 throttle body....

Have everything to make another G40 minus the charger...

Throttle Body £75
Engine £400
Charger Bracket £10
Gearbox £250

Don't want to let my spare ECU or loom go though, so you'd have to find them, and a couple of boost pipes too.

i will be braking a red g40 in the next couple of weeks it currently has a 1341 cc engine in it but i will be pinching that and replacing it with my current 1272 cc engine  i would then give you the entire car im thinking £1650ish and ill throw in a 2.25" s/s exhuast system with  vw decat downpipe as the exhuast is bent on it apparently the shells in good condition with g40 interior it will need may need a new chip but there under £50 from ppp on here 65 mm v belt pulley brand new r1 charger done 800 miles with paperwork to prove ! along with service history for my engine , may negotiate on price depending on how finshed you want the car its currently got no mot or tax  so that £1650 is for the car up and running will do it cheaper if you wanna take it in bits let me know :)

I HAVE A G40 ENGINE AND ECU BUT NO GEARBOX OR SUPER CHARGER,ITS DONE ABOUT 45000MILES I THINK BUT I CAN CHECK FOR SURE.I BOUGHT THE ENGINE FOR THE CHARGER 12YEARS AGO AND ITS BEEN SITTING IN MY WORKSHOP SINCE THEN.I'M LOOKING FOR £400 ONO.I'D BE HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE.
