On my mk2 G40 converted bready, I have a little problem with that it gets a little too hot!
Got a slimline fan at the moment! Thermostat is "motorsport" spec that opens at 70 degrees! But at a trackday today, the engine watertemp was around 95 after 3 laps, so took it easy and drove back in the depot?
It got smaller chargerwheel, ported, chip, Cosworth 2wd Intercooler in lower part of front apron with airvent holes!
I have been thinking of putting in a stock fanshroud and 2 speed fan! But will that be better than the slimline?
And how Important is the slimline fan placement on the radiator? Mine is now in the middle
Anyone got some inputs on this?
