Cup car brakes

Was just watching some videos on u tube and was wondering what brake setup they ran?

Cant of been standard 239's?

More to do with weight/momemtum, seeing as these things will have been stripped back from factory bench weight.

basically standard 113bhp in the original G40 Cup.

I thought they ran smaller pulley's and different exhausts on the cup cars.

yeah officially they were supposed to be pretty much standard apart from various safety related modifications of any motorsport and then rock hard suspension as the standard stuff would be daft.

But there's a lot of stories of people doing stealthy modifications and trying to fool the scrutineers.  Also the proper G40 Cup only ran for a few years and then the cars mostly went into other racing series, some of which would allow more modifications to be done.  So cars got modified after the proper Cup ended I'm sure.
