« on: June 21, 2009, 04:57:44 pm »
hi all,

im aiming to get a reliable 150bhp from the g,
the mods i will be running are as follows:

full blend charger,
65mm pulley,
ss 4-2-1 manifold and full exhaust system,
forge front mount intercooler,
gt inlet manifold,
and a chip to suit.

will this get me the power im after?
any other modifacations u can think of that will help me get there!

cheers

sounds reasonable.  You'll also need to do something with the standard airbox.  Either remove the restrictions from inside it and fit a decent panel filter or replace it with a cone filter and heat shield.

Dont forget with more power comes the need for better brakes and suspension as well  :)

No reason why you can't get 150 BHP from the following:

65mm Pulley (toothed drive is more consistant)
Chip to suit
GT Inlet manifold
De-Restricted Airbox
Full Blend Charger

De-cat and suitable exhaust will help. Might be worth going for 250cc injectors if your getting a specific chip anyway.
