There was a dodgy batch of LC-1s, read the Innovate forums to check out the details. Fortunately mine's not one of them.
You do have to be careful how you wire them up, I'd originally got mine wired up the same as the stock lambda (in parallel with the fuel pumps) - which meant it came on when the pumps primed, then went off again until you cranked the car. Unfortunately that power cycling seemed to make the unit keep trying to re-calibrate itself, which got fucking annoying. The probe (heater element) died after very little use too - though that might be because the car's stood around for a long time.
The LM-2 kit that I also have does what it says on the tin, it's budget stuff compared to the stuff I use at work - and there's better hobbyist stuff out there too, but it costs a lot more - so Innovate's not bad for bang per buck.
