Well thanks to alexiskayak_7 I have found a new mk2f chassis (thanks again mate). So I ll go and have a look at it tomorrow and probably buy it on the spot as the price is, as said before, next to nothing.

The chassis I ll be buying is striped and ready for paint as the previous owner was rebuilding it and dropped the project.

In my G40 I was running an eaton engine with 143hp and 19,1kgr of torque. I intent to go up to around 170 to 180 (that probably translates to 21,22 kgr of torque) and don't want it to split like the previous.

I want to know, before I go for paint, what reinforcements are suggested to avoid further problems with it. Note that I was already running an equivalent to a stage 2 subframe on my G40. Pictures are mostly appreciated.

Chassis are all the same on Polos, it's only bolt on bits that differ (e.g. the steering damper, suspension, brakes, etc). Any 86c can be G40'd with relative ease.
