depends what look/drive you want and your budget.
I love konis, which work well on standard ride height without being to hard. but they are about £80-100 a corner.
People rate h+r cup kits - which lower 40 or 60 mm but again they are about £350 a set.

when i bought my car it was lowered 60mm on standard shocks are the ride was nasty! ive now uprated the shocks with spax at just under £50 a corner! and now the ride is beautiful and very little body roll when taking corners at speed! sticks like glue!

sorry to hijack guys... who is the best place to buy konis from?
I notice the rear platforms are removable so would a "rally design" coilover platform fit?
ala:
http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=1358&products_id=3458&osCsid=rgtfqtov3teaarvcoeqvr48al1
this is providing the konis have a 50mm dia
thanks

I think the konis are slimmer than 50mm, I have some in my garage that I can measure if you want. I also have an unused set of the rally design slide-on things, you'll need some inserts machining up to take up space inside the coilover cover.
