Right here's the plan.
All meet up at about 12.30pm on Sat 7th August - suggested place here - http://www.dogandpartridgeinn.co.uk/
just on the woodhead pass. Not far from Sheffield or Manchester or the M1/M60 ring.
Loads of car parking (if i remember rightly!) and food is ok there if you wanted a bite to eat.
We'll miss the strines out this year as people found it a little harsh in terms of bumps etc.
Set off at 1pm - through glossop, bamford, hope castleton, buxton and on to macclesfield area.

Sunday 8th - up early and we'll make the trip to Tatton Park - where we have a club stand http://vwnw.co.uk/

Hope we avoid the maaaaaaasive traffic jam near tatton this year, it was too warm sat in that last year, :) especially with a hang over :o :o

i would of come but im in newquay that week end for board masters! 800 mile round trip for the G

Anymore for this?! We've booked the campsite and its here http://www.thewildboar.co.uk/ (http://www.thewildboar.co.uk/) which is a new venue we are trying out a bit closer to Tatton.
Looking forward to seeing a few old faces and hopefully some new one and new G's!

Got too much on at work atm and going on holiday the weekend after so no time!
Will definitely come to the rally if the car is ready:)

Hi Guys,
Had such a laugh last year, Count Rae & Myself in for camping (+beer) and then the convoy over to VWNW with you all the following morning.
Didn't think you'd all appreciate us tagging along to the rally now we don't have a g40!! but we would still like to meet up for the rest if that's ok!?

Hi Guys, Were deffo coming for the camping and on to the show with you, although no point putting my car on your stand so i just assume there will be a normal car park? We are undecided on the rally, think we will decide on the sat morning & either meet you at half 12 or just go straight to the camp site around 5.30 to meet you all.

Just a quick note to say thanks to everyone who attended the Rally, camping and tatton or any of the three! I think I'm right in saying that everyone had a good time, I know I did.
Had done 200 miles by the time I got home so a nice bit of driving.
Nice to meet some new faces too.

Yeah just to echo what Hayesey said. I had a really good weekend too. I think I noticed 212 miles or so on the clock this morning when I went to work this morning.
Has anyone got any pictures? I forgot my camera so didnt take any.

that' black beetle was fooking awesome, probably my favourite of the show as I pointed out to yoofy when we looked at it.
