Title: psd eaton cam

hi all first post here im trying to fit an eaton sperciffic cam in my eatoned g40 but the cam loabs are so large on the cam that they are catching the head itself just before the cam touches the tappet {not alot but they are catching}. has anyone else had this prob? its a newman cam supplyed by psd and its phase 3 if thats any help.

dont matter now i,ve found out that this is quite normal and i just had to use a dremal to smooth off alil bit of the head buckets

I was gonna say its probably jsut a case of trimming the casting down to allow clearance, it not unusual to have variations due to casting mould tolerances, plus I guess the PSD Eaton Cam isrunning a bit more lift than the standard one.

yeah i think the exhaust lobe on the cam  is supposed to be really wild
