Look out the window though fred, there goes another BMW Mini. Ultimately there's a lot of pleasure in having anything well preserved from a bygone age otherwise we'd never try to repair anything. There's a hell of a lot of miles left in that wee GT and it'll still be going strong on it's thirtieth birthday. It may not have been all that desirable from the factory, but, well looked after as it is, it will definitely be of serious interest in the future. I personally hope that it realizes something like the asking price and as I have said before,"the more you pay the more it's worth". You may pay what appears to be over the odds, but if you're happy then what the hell it's your money(or maybe the banks lol).
