It's up for 2995, and yes it was for sale. but the car is in such beautiful condition I don't want to use it as my daily driver! :(

You`d have to be seriosly dedicated to pay that much.

Can get a bmw mini cooper for that, maybe even a S version albeit with some miles on.

Look out the window though fred, there goes another BMW Mini. Ultimately there's a lot of pleasure in having anything well preserved from a bygone age otherwise we'd never try to repair anything. There's a hell of a lot of miles left in that wee GT and it'll still be going strong on it's thirtieth birthday. It may not have been all that desirable from the factory, but, well looked after as it is, it will definitely be of serious interest in the future. I personally hope that it realizes something like the asking price and as I have said before,"the more you pay the more it's worth". You may pay what appears to be over the odds, but if you're happy then what the hell it's your money(or maybe the banks lol).

You are probably right John. It has to be said it is a minter and so many have been broken now.

If i didn`t have 2 cars then i would be interested but then travelling 32.9 miles one way to work would
not be good for it. I`d have to garage it and summer only drives if it was mine.
Sorry for hijackin the thread.

Fred.

Going from the pics here:

http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=287990&hl=white+show+polo

It's a supersprint manifold/ ta technix, not a PPP one, About £280 cheaper  ;)
