yes, they will scrub quite severely without arch work.

you can make them fit if you want jezz i ran 15" rh cups but they where et 50. my arches have been rolled heavily arch liners removedand some of the plastic arch trim has been cut away. its definantly possible though so don't rule it out!

With the right tyres and not too low it's fine
I ran RMs 15x7  in the summer with 165 50 15
No good to get power down but look good with the smallest bit of stretch

I run 15x6 with the same now tyre quite low with little scrubbing only when giving it some round harsh corners or roundabouts

yeah I've only ever used 195/45/15 tyres on 15" wheels.

I run G60 steels on mine with 165 50 15 bridgestones. They are good for everyday driving an don't catch at all. Loads of clearance as they are only 6" wide.

Will be running something smaller next year tho as I want a wider tyre to get more grip

Ok, well i will put my mates rm's on and see what there like. I think they are 6.5J and he got 195/45 on them.

Problem for me is with my power i dont wanna loose any traction at all, if i had a LSD maybe i would.

Didnt know you had all that done antony. Give me a shout if your around over the weekend?

i run 15s - initially G60 steels to get big brakes on as i was running good power- but quickly realised it was pointless as the loss in traction of running 165/50/15 fronts to avoid catching was making excess wheelspin and lack of grip.
now i only run 15s because i found a set of fuch split rims for £400 and cant bare to part with them. i think 14s are the best size and having worked out i can get 256mm brakes from a 6n2 to fit with a tweak to the hole spacing il keep my eye out for some smaller wheels

i found i had more traction running toyo proxies in 195/45/ r15  but then that was running 140 hp with a later as opposed to 190 with a turbo and 185/50r14 15s can work and give better tyres choice only thing thing i didn't like was the lose of comfort with hard suspension which isn't a problem if your running shocks and springs probably a good thing. steering effort when parking was increased a fair amount l. i would definantly  get another set if i could get the arch clearance and offsets to work correctly. only my opinion on 15s

This is the lowest you can go on RM's 15x7 with 165/50/15
Still scrubs slightly

Probably just best to stick with 14's then.

Would these fit over 256mm brakes?

depends on the offsets mate you would need well below ten and maybe even negative offset for 13" this will mean berg arches or some serious metal work doable if youve got the cash or are handy with a welder and some body filler ;) but they are very very nice wheels !!
