Looking for an original G40
« on: August 06, 2011, 01:53:31 am »
Had a Polo Coupe S as my first car, clearly a bit weedy but was great to drive; now I find that newer cars are just plain boring.  I hate power steering, central locking (what's wrong with 'central locking' meaning 'can sit in drivers seat and reach all locks from there'?), air con, comfort (have a 'family' car for family trips).  And I really liked in the Polo that I could have a cold vent blowing in my face while the hot vent blew elsewhere.  And I didn't mind that the dash board warning lights lit entirely at random.

Would love to buy a 'real' G40 - I can't be bothered with modified cars and the insurance hassle, esp. as have recently moved back to the UK from abroad which causes enough faff already.

Does anyone have an original G40 they'd consider selling, especially in north or north-east?
