hi all, when i had my 1.4 gt engine in my van i was using a tim rev counter.now iv put a g40 engine in i'd like to use the same revcounter,on the gt i ran it off the ignition module but iv tryed on the gee and it dosent work from there..dose anyone know where i splice into the loom to get a pulse for the rev counter?Huh?

It's in the wiring diagram in the haynes manual, I went through it 5-6 years ago and can't remember what I did. Tried looking in there?

connect the rev counter wire to the negative take off on the coil (its under a cap by the plug, 8mm nut

rev pulse from ecu is the red/black from the yellow plug in the ecu loom
