hi im after a py block as i was given the wrong head bolts and knackered the threads, i feel like a tit for not checking them first! but its done now so if you have a block send me the mileage,condishion  and price  Smiley

with the amount of force that goes on the thread i dont think so im going to look in to it but i have another head so i was going to get a new block get my car back on the road then try sort this one out   Undecided

if you aren't happy with a helicoil (speak to a machine shop about force it'd take) you could always look to get oversized bolts and get the head drilled out (1ws use bigger bolts) - might be cheaper - or get someone to plug weld the stripped thread and rethread?

i spoke to a company today they said the helicoils will be fine so im going to go with that at £150
the parts place i got the head bolts from are paying £125 so its all good Smiley
