Hi, wondering if anyone can tell me wich another vw model the steering damper will fit to g40 steering.

I know the gt one its the same, but i whant a new part, and cant find 871425021A anyware. At vw dealers is absolete, so the reason of my question. But thanks anyway.

if the same part was on another car it should still have the same part number anyway as far as I'm aware.  So if it's obsolete then it's obsolete from any cars it was used on.

But I dont think it was used on anything other than the polo gt and g40 anyway.  Golf steering racks are very different.

Try a bike place, it's a common thing to bolt dampers to motorbikes to stop it weaving.
