Took my koni rear struts out today and they are nearly rotton, and i dont want to pay £100 each for koni ones. whats the best affordable options for rear struts. Not buying coilovers as its not in my budget.

why dont you repair those koni's?!

you don't need new shocks as they can stay as good as new!

for about 50£ you can have them fixed.

How would i go about doing that? they are rotton on the stainless rods, Its rotted down by about 1mm all the way around leaving a indent. I wouldnt want to put a slug of weld in the indent and grind it back.

go to a koni dealer and they'll rebuild the shocks. other way, try a machine shop, they can fill with stainless weld.

here in portugal, everyone stick with they'r konis for life, thanks for beeing repairable.
