Take.... on.... me....

« on: December 04, 2011, 09:14:49 pm »

I'd not heard of this until it popped up on the new films list on my apple tv the other day but it is an awesome film. If you've not heard of Guy Martin before he is a TT rider who this film follows quite closely. I'm not a massive bike fan but this was simply awesome, how these guys do this I've no idea but they have some big un's and Guy Martin is hilarious.

Ace film!

Guy Martin calls a spade a spade, but he must be pain to sponsor.

Cummins' crash is extreme- takes him ages to stop falling.

Some impressive footage of a Scooby attempting the quickest lap on 4 wheels, with a 150mph twitch on YouTube too, will dig the link out.

These guys are 100% dedicated though, seems everyone involved paramedics, marshalls, commentators etc are all ex racers too Smiley

Dunno about you Yoof but did he not remind you of Beavis a bit? Maybe it was just the messy hair. Mind you I couldnt help think of someone else when they said he'd had the same shorts on for two years straight. I bet he is a pain to sponsor etc, can you imagine him in F1, would be awesome.

That Scooby footage is unreal, proper scary stuff, they did a write up with Higgins in evo at the time.

I really was up for seeing this, but it's nearest showing was about 200 miles away. What I have seen of it is mesmerising.

Mega film! Not as good as sitting on a hedge while they come flying by! All the riders are nuts!
