Evening all,

Time has come to sell the Mrs' daily Polo as she wants a car with PAS, we've owend this for just over a year, and it's done us proud, just passed its MOT with no advisories.

Spec:

1991 GT- H plate 3F engine code
White Squareback model
168,000 miles
Headgasket done by previous owner in 2009
Koni Yellow suspension (60/40 drop)
G40 Interior
Sony Headunit
Electric Ariel
Phoniex Gold Speakers in custom door pods
Clifford Alarm
Central locking
G40 Brakes
Sunroof
MOT until Sept/Oct 2012
Tax until March 2012

Serviced last year by me, car had; Battery, Oil, Coolant, Oil Filter, Air Filter, Plugs, Fuel Filter, and a fresh dizzy cap & rotor arm- had a brand new coil when I bought it. Car sailed through the emissions test (still has a catalyst) and returns 40mpg+ so a good healty 3F engine. I've replaced all the engine earths and it starts cleanly.

Car also had 4 brand new Kumho tyres (175/60 R13) 3,000miles ago.

Bad Points:

Car has several scabs and surface rust- I will take photos of these in more detail
Boot lock currently doesn't work
Rear window has been re-sealed at some point and boot has rust on it- To be honest I'd replace the whole boot for the sake of £30
Top mounts in my opinion need doing, I used to replace these yearly on my Polo before getting solid ones- I hate worn ones.

Overall the car is a good runner, and has had all the usual suspects (ignition components, battery and tyres) replaced within the last year so is ready for winter.

Car is located in Chelford, Cheshire- I'm available most evenings, and this Sunday for viewings.

£750 ono

Thanks,

Pete

Also for any potential buyers, the car doesn't come with an electric Gazelle- although they are rare...

ar·i·el   /ˈɛəriəl/  Show Spelled[air-ee-uhl]  Show IPA
noun
a mountain gazelle of Arabia, Gazella gazella arabica: almost extinct.

I've now found a suitable Gazelle- and stuck 240v up it.

I've held up my side of the bargin, anyone want to buy the car now?

Will change the oil and put a new set of plugs in it before it goes- car has been used fine over winter (stood for 3 weeks and still starts on the button), the mrs has a new car now, so this has to go!
