bumper red strip

do g40 come with the red strip on the bumper or do some do and some not?

All G40s came with the red strip on front and rear bumpers, but it's only a stuck on trim tape on an otherwise normal MK3 Polo bumper. If it's missing from your car it probably got a bit tatty and was removed. I think the correct stuff is obselete from VW but places like Halfords do it.

4mm red halfords tape I do believe. i phoned VW a few years back and there was 1 item of it left in the UK at the time.

VW don't do it anymore, but yeh Halfrauds do the colour in red and I think yellow, don't know why and they also do a reflective version, which looks shit!
