Coolm A bit thin though 4mm is the usual regulation thickness. Heard back from ACW, happy to do Standard kit back windoe and back 1/4 for about 100. bronxe tint for about 120 and 200 fir the antiscratch marguard. However he doesnt have the dimensions..... Anyone have a mk3 polo near bristol that would pay him a visit?!

Cool. Yea I'm in no rush. Have you more info on the company? If its a bloke with a Stanley knife then I can do that! I'd prefer with margaurd protection too. Do they do that? Might pm jezza too just see what happens. I haven't heard back from other 2 companies.

Yea, it seems P4P are the ones to go to for no fuss good windows but ££££. I reckon ACW can do as good products for a lot less, so Id like to get them some measurements so they can quote properly.

It's 3 mm I think a may go for.. But unsure if it will be stable or flappy up the motorway.. Am now weight saving as much as a cab tbh. A want 180bhp and 750kgs as a nice ball figure.
Mark are you still buildin the glass fibre shell'd G?

mine are 3mm, they dont flap about on the motorway but the slider makes a fair bit of noise. I've not done the boot window yet though.

I think Jezza7 is near Bristol somewhere!
Im 30 miles from these. Have replied back to mark and i can make a trip there next time im shooting past. If anyone else is looking to get some i could let them take measurement of all windows and then let them know for future reference.

Yea I think this coulf be a great Idea jezza. Anyone up for a group Buy on all the different bits. I have windows out the shell so can take pics etc. I think I'll retain the fron window for the moment, although it would be nice to do one peice fron window convetion and retain the winder, although it must be tricky or soneone will have done it. I think the weight saving gained through binning the window mechs are minimal, although I could weigh them
Yep still building the carbon bodied car! Im in no rush TBH but would like to get them sorted, I spoke to the bloke at ACW and he seems clued up and nice. So would be good to get proper numbers from him etc.
4mm is the minimum reuirement fir MSA rules so if you ever want to do hill climbs or other stuff then you need 4mm....
